This is not an official county contact page. Do not send personal case information, payment details, or sensitive documents to this site expecting an official response. For an immediate emergency, call 911. For a status check, contact the clerk or warrant unit that maintains the record.
Need Official Warrant Information?
Start with the office responsible for the record. The Titus County Sheriff’s warrant contact can address the Sheriff’s warrant information; the issuing court controls the docket and its orders. The Sheriff’s public directory separates warrants, records, dispatch, and jail services. A jail contact is not a substitute for a clerk’s case-status answer, and records staff may handle copies rather than active-service questions.
Titus County Sheriff: Warrant Contact
Sgt. Shawn Davis
304 S Van Buren Ave, Mount Pleasant, TX 75455
903-572-6641 · warrants@co.titus.tx.us
Ask whether the Sheriff can confirm its warrant-service information. The county does not publish a public all-warrant lookup or a standard request form, fee, or response deadline.
Sheriff’s Office: Records
Andrea Miller
Use this route for a records-copy question. It is separate from the warrant contact and does not itself confirm current status.
Titus County Jail
Jail operations answer custody questions within their role. Contact the issuing court or warrant unit for court status, recall orders, or service confirmation.
District criminal cases: The District Clerk maintains felony case files for the 76th and 276th District Courts. Call 903-577-6721 or email districtclerk@co.titus.tx.us. Give the clerk the cause number if known and ask whether it can provide the docket or explain a filed order. A clerk’s public case copy and the Sheriff’s current warrant status are different questions.
County misdemeanor cases: Contact the County Clerk at 903-577-6796. The criminal clerk is listed at extension 8255. The County Clerk’s online case information is described as real-time and not for official use; some linked portal functions require sign-in or registration. Ask the clerk about a certified record, the current balance, or the next court date rather than relying on an unverified search entry.
The County Clerk lists copies of docket pages at $1 per page and certified copies at an additional $5, with a paper request form. Confirm the current fee and payment method before submitting a request. A record-copy fee is not a warrant-resolution payment and does not clear a case.
Justice-court criminal matters: The shared criminal-clerk route for Precincts 1, 3, and 4 is 903-577-6761. Precinct 2 is 903-577-6757. The Justice Center is at 100 S Madison Ave, Mount Pleasant, TX. Check the precinct printed on the citation; do not assume that a city or traffic matter belongs to the closest courthouse. Ask the criminal clerk about the case number, plea instructions, next date, and any warrant or capias entry.
Mount Pleasant municipal court: The court is listed at 501 N Madison Ave, Mount Pleasant, TX, phone 903-575-4010, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; judge access is listed at 8:00 a.m. The Mount Pleasant Police Department’s non-emergency number is 903-575-4004. A city directory separately lists 903-572-6641 extension 1 for police, which conflicts with the city’s public-information page. Verify the current number before relying on that directory entry. The municipal court must confirm its citation and any capias pro fine arrangement; there is no shared countywide roster.
Talco: City Hall is listed at 400 W Broad St, Talco, TX 75487. A current public warrant phone or city-court portal was not located in the official source review. Use the official Talco website to ask which clerk handles the citation; do not substitute Mount Pleasant’s procedures.
Winfield: City Hall lists 903-524-2020, Monday through Thursday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The official pages do not publish a warrant portal or dedicated warrant clerk. Ask whether the city holds the citation or whether it belongs to a Titus County justice court. See the Winfield warrant-record guide for the local route.
For background on how these offices differ, use the Titus County warrant guide or the warrant-check page. When contacting an office, keep the case identifier and date of contact. Ask who can confirm present status, what action changes it, and whether the answer can be provided in writing. Do not send a Social Security number or other sensitive identifier through an unverified email or public web form.
A copy request should name the document and court, while a status call should ask whether a particular process remains active. If the first office cannot answer, ask which office holds the case and note the referral. A response from one city court does not clear an unrelated county or state record.
