Why We Built This Site
A countywide warrant search box can suggest that every office shares one database. The Titus County source review found no public Sheriff warrant portal that combines all open matters. Instead, the Sheriff’s warrant contact and the courts perform different jobs. Sgt. Shawn Davis is the listed warrant contact at warrants@co.titus.tx.us or 903-572-6641. The Sheriff’s records contact is separate, as are dispatch and jail operations. A question about a court order or case history belongs with the court that created that record.
That division matters when a first search returns nothing. District criminal files are handled by the District Clerk; county misdemeanor files by the County Clerk; justice-court matters by the criminal clerk for the precinct on the case; and municipal citations by the city court that issued them. A city page may publish a different payment procedure or a date-limited list. A state driver-license program may flag only certain court-reported failures. None of those limited records answers every warrant question.
We built this guide to help a reader choose a practical first contact, recognize the limits of a portal, and ask the maintaining office for a current case-specific response. The location detail matters in Titus County: Mount Pleasant publishes municipal court instructions, while public Talco and Winfield pages do not provide the same warrant search route. Each city page reflects its own source review rather than assuming that all three cities use one workflow.
What You Will Find Here
The Titus County warrant-records guide maps the Sheriff, District Clerk, County Clerk, and justice-court contacts. It explains why the court that issued a warrant is usually the right place to ask about a docket entry, balance, appearance date, or recall order, while the Sheriff can address its own warrant-service information. The warrant-check page describes the available search routes and their gaps, including a County Clerk case portal that requires account access for some functions.
- Active warrant search: what can and cannot be learned from the available county contacts and Mount Pleasant’s dated municipal snapshot.
- Bench warrant lookup: how missed appearances and lower-court records route to the issuing court.
- Arrest warrant lookup: the difference between an arrest-warrant record, its service, and an executed-warrant copy request.
- Traffic warrants: justice-court and municipal-court routes, plus the narrow role of DPS and OmniBase for qualifying renewal holds.
- City court warrants: why Mount Pleasant, Talco, and Winfield require separate confirmation.
- County most wanted: how to send a tip safely without treating a tip line as a status search.
Separate city profiles cover Mount Pleasant, Talco, and Winfield. The supporting pages explain how to contact the site, how the site handles information, and the limitations on using its content.
What We Cannot Do
Titus County Warrant Records is a privately operated reference site. It is not the Titus County Sheriff, a court, a city, or a Texas agency. We do not have access to confidential court or law-enforcement systems and do not maintain an official roster. We cannot run an official check, confirm that a person is wanted, or guarantee that a public record is current at the time it is read.
- We cannot issue, serve, recall, quash, clear, or remove a warrant from a court or law-enforcement system.
- We cannot accept bond, fine, or court payments or arrange an appearance, surrender, or walk-through.
- We cannot tell a reader whether to pay, contest a charge, appear, or take another legal step.
- We cannot guarantee that a clerk’s portal covers every case or that a third-party result is complete.
- We cannot promise a response time, fee, or public release when the responsible office has not published one.
For an official answer, contact the court or office that maintains the record. The Sheriff’s warrant contact is distinct from records staff, dispatch, and the jail. The clerk for the court printed on a citation or case notice can identify that case’s status and next court action. If a listing seems urgent or identifies someone else, do not confront the person; use the official agency route or an appropriate anonymous tip channel.
Search Partners
Some pages display search boxes supplied by an outside provider. That provider operates its own service, determines its own terms and prices, and controls the results it returns. A click or signup may result in a referral payment to this site. Such compensation does not turn a private search into a Sheriff or court record check, and a paid report should not be treated as an official Titus County docket.
Review the provider’s own privacy terms and charges before entering information or purchasing a report. We cannot correct a result in another company’s database or promise what a partner will find. For a court record or current warrant status, go directly to the relevant Titus County or city office described on the page. This site does not collect payments on a court’s behalf, transmit a warrant query to a government database, or make any decision about a case.
Links to public offices are included to make the next step easier. Government sites may change their pages, phone numbers, forms, and access requirements. Confirm the current instructions with that office, especially before traveling or sending payment.
